A Mind Renewed by the Word

You can be saved and still think like the old you.

In Day 6 of Built Different, Pastor James Epperly teaches from Romans 12:2 on what it means to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. If you are going to live built different, you cannot keep thinking from the old blueprint.

Many believers have been made new in Christ, but their thought patterns are still shaped by fear, shame, condemnation, comparison, insecurity, offense, or the culture around them. But the Word of God gives us truth strong enough to cast down every lie and renew the way we think.

This teaching will help you recognize thoughts that do not agree with God, stop letting every thought build a house in your mind, and begin meditating on what is true, pure, lovely, noble, and of good report.

You do not have to be conformed to this world.

You can be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Your mind belongs to Christ.
